This award will recognise a business of any size whose primary purpose is not community engagement, but who go above and beyond their day-to-day operations to make a meaningful and proactive contribution to their local community. This could be by providing a service that is vital to the community or donating the time and expertise of employees to give real, practical support to the neighbourhood in which they are based. Other examples are fundraising, salary sacrifice schemes, sponsored events or supporting young people though mock interviews, career talks, company visits etc.
